Anthological Choral Works


An excellent compilation of choral pieces composed by Ennio Morricone, here you'll find suites of Casualties Of War, Addio Fratello Crudele, Allonsanfan, Vatel, Ad Ogni Costo, etc. Seems that exists a 2nd volume, will try to find it. Thanks to "the darkened" for his great contribution.

Lucky You


One of the long awaited scores by Young now available as a 2CD set including all the music he composed, seems that in the final film only 26 min. of score were used. The music is in the style of Bandist (also composed by Young), so enjoy it!

Last week I had the chance to watch this movie on TV, a war between Gabriel Byrne and Ben Kingsley who both are powerful rich men. I was very impressed by the music composed by Don Davis and here's the promo, no tracklist.

A Good Year

Nice compilation of action themes composed by James Horner, this promo includes tracks from Commando, 48Hrs, Red Heat, Another 48Hrs, Jade, Gorky Park, Volunteers and the rejected suite of Streets Of Fire. Covers are included.

Nazareno Cruz y el Lobo


Another film from Argentina, this time directed by popular singer/director Leonardo Favio. The music source is a LP so don't expect clean sound, anyway the music is quite good specially the track "Soleado". Oh, the film composer is Juan José García Caffi. Thanks Hernan for his contribution!!

Gladiator (rejected) / Hoosiers


Two scores in one disc, all by great maestro Jerry Goldsmith. The first one is the rejected score for the boxing film, the replacement score was finally done by Brad Fiedel. The second score is the original released cues plus a bonus track. Covers are included.

Suicide Kings


Graeme Revel was the composer for this Christopher Walken film about a group of gangsters who kidnaps a mafia leader. Tense and dramatic music.

Hush


Great score by Christopher Young and still remains unreleased, here's the promo that was floating around for some years, specially recomended track 5 "You".

Enter The Dragon


One of Mr. Schifrin masterpieces, #1 in my personal fav of him, here's the DVD rip of the music with some new cues. Thanks to reddragon for this contribution!

The Amityville Horror


This remake of 2005 featured original music by Steve Jablonsky, there're some homages to Lalo Schifrin's early work. The horror score works very well in the film. Covers are included.

The Air Up There


David Newman is a composer that awfuly not many of his scores were originally released, here's the promo score for this Kevin Bacon film about a basketball trainer in Africa, great work.

Ladder 49


For this 2004 film, William Ross composed a beautiful score with a lovely and dramatic main theme. Covers are included.

CBS News Music


James Horner was commisioned to compose the new CBS News Theme and here you can enjoy the theme and its variations like endings and alternate versions, fantastic promo made by a Horner fan.

Predator 2


One of the finest scores by Alan Silvestri as an expanded release, superb music with excellent sound quality, awfully at the end are included some songs.

Sauvage Et Beau


One of the many documentaries Vangelis has composed is Sauvage Et Beau, beautiful main theme and great incidental music. Since the source is the original video you'll listen to the music and also the narration by french Richard Berry. I specially recomend the track: Le Dieu Jaguar.

La Cacería


From argentinean composer Mariano Nuñez West here comes the promotional release of this 2002 action film. The music is performed by synths but is really good with some action passages and melancholic themes. Covers are included.

Cinderella 3: A Twist Of Time


This movie was direct to DVD release and Joel McNeely was in charge of the music, here's the short release of score cues performed by the Hollywood Studio Symphony. Amazing covers are included, thanks to Lost Scores blog!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

Well my friends, 2007 ends and a new year is coming, we wish you a great 2008 will full joy and health for you and your family. Peti is so happy to have many friends and that also support everytime. As a personal gift we want to share this last film score: Marie de Nazareth composed by Olivier Lliboutry, performed by The London Symphony Orchestra. An excellent and beautiful score that not so many people know. Thank you Christopher for this special soundtrack.

Bueno mis amigos, el 2007 llega a su fin y un nuevo año se nos viene, les deseamos un gran 2008 lleno de alegría y salud para ustedes y sus familias. Peti está muy contenta de tener tantos amigos y que siempre la apoyen. Como regalo personal queremos compartir la última bso del año: Marie de Nazareth compuesta por Olivier Lliboutry e interpretada por la Orquesta Sinfónica de Londres. Una excelente y hermosa banda sonora que no mucha gente conoce. Gracias Christopher por este soundtrack tan especial.

A new promo for Joel McNeely, now for a 2003 film starring Dakota Fanning and Brittany Murphy. The music is soft and gentle, in a romantic way, unfortunately only runs 22 min. Covers are included.

Look Who's Talking Now


For the third part of this John Travolta film, Williams Ross was in charge for the original score. Orchestral sound and lot of fun, no tracklist but the covers are included.

The Fog


A classic film by John Carpenter and of course he composed the original score, here's the complete music for the film including source cues. Covers are included.

Elmer Bernstein Concert


Great concert by the maestro performed by The National Orchestra of Catalonia on March 23 and 24, 2001 at L'Auditori in Barcelona, Spain. This concert includes suites from Hawaii, The Sons Of Katie Elder, Heavy Metal and many more. Enjoy!

Road To El Dorado


One of my holy grails, hope some day we can enjoy a complete release of the music composed by Hans Zimmer, John Powell and team. Superb music specially the track "Save El Dorado", pray for a complete score!!

The Mighty


One of the finest scores by Trevor Jones and performed by the London Symphony Orchestra, this promo includes more score tracks than the official release and also includes the main song performed by Sting.

Ali


Lisa Gerrard and her collaborator Pieter Burke were in charge to compose the riginal music for this movie about the life of Muhamad Ali. The promo is short but is beautiful, with Lisa enchanting voice.

The One


This promo with music composed by Trevor Rabin includes a couple more themes than the original release by Varese so don't know why it came out. Also includes suites from Bad Company, American Outlaws, Enemy Of The State and Rock Star.

Breakfast Of Champions


For this uknown film of Bruce Willis, Mark Isham composed the original score. No track names. Sound quality is very good.
