Bug

Really interesting but maybe a bit hard to listen, this Brian Tyler score is the second collaboration of the composer and the director William Friedkin. The score was not released on CD and is only available thru iTunes download.

Peti,

what an awesome post, I really appreciate it! I've been hoping to find this album, so, thanks a lot!

Very interesting music, I love Brian Tyler. Do you by any chance have any of his promotional scores?

Thanks again.

Hello scorejunky,

thanks for your nice comments! I have many of Tyler unreleased scores, let me know which ones are you looking for. Sirens I don't have yet, but maybe in some time...

Hello Peti,

your blog gets better every day!

Did you watch the movie BUG? I was a bit surprised that hardly any of Tyler's score ended up in the final movie! That and the experimental nature of the music are probably the reasons the album went straight to iTunes instead of getting a legitimate release....?

Thanks for your kind offer concerning Tyler's unreleased works. Well, I've got every one of his regular and limited albums and so far also managed to get these:

-Enterprise CANAMAR
-Enterprise REGENERATIONS
-BARTENDER
-PANIC
-CONSTANTINE Complete
-Vampires Los Muertos

Thus, I'd be looking for these promos (*if they actually exist):

-THOUGHT CRIMES
-A PIECE OF MY HEART*
-LAST CALL
-PLAN B
-JANE DOE
-The Education of Max Bickford*
-SHADOW HOURS
-4 DOGS PLAYING POKER
-PURPLE HAZE*
-SIMON SEZ*
-THE SETTLEMENT
-LEVEL 9*
-The Big Spin*
-Final Justice*
-Sirens
-Living In Captivity*
-Jenny*
-Discovery Channel: Animal Planet*

If you had any of those or knew where I could get it, I'd very much appreciate your help!
I've seen some of the above on eBay, but they sold for ridiculously high amounts (150-200 $ or more)!!

Thanks and have a great day,
scorejunky

The movie was never released here but maybe this year, anyway I'll try to find the dvd. As far as I know, the director, William Friedkin, asked Tyler that kind of music, Tyler said is the most weird score he ever wrote.

I also love Brian's music, some of the items you're looking for I already have so keep looking because I'll upload them.

All the best!

That sounds awesome, Peti!
Thanks in advance!
I'm really getting curious which ones you've got!

I am definitely looking forward to Tyler's upcoming RAMBO IV score, which, with Goldsmith-quotes and the subject at hand, seems to be a project that should suit Brian very well...;-)

Best
