Academy Award nominee, and by many film music fans was the real winner. Spanish composer Javier Navarrete provided an excellent score, very dark. Here's the promotional "For Your Consideration" that contains the complete music. Covers are included.

Happy weekend!

Shrek 3: The Video Game

Geoff Zanelli, member of the Remote Control team, was in charge to compose the music for this recent video game; his collaborator was Winifred Philips (¿?). The music is modern pop style.

Stir Of Echoes

This film starred by Kevin Bacon is in a way very similar to Sixth Sense, maybe that's why the composer choice was obvious: James Newton Howard. Although the score is not as good as Sixth... this music is very ambient and many horror passages, too incidental. Anyway, the official CD contains only few score tracks, here you have the complete score, and covers are included.

One of the most famous videogames, and my favorite too. In 1992 Midway bring us a new game that combined realistic scenarios and characters plus new movements and lot of blood. I personally compiled the music composed by Dan Forden of all stages for Mortal Kombat I, II and III and also included as bonus tracks the fx gallery sounds of each game, hope you enjoy this presentation. Covers are included.

The Horsemen

Another finest score by Georges Delerue and still no CD release: The Horsemen. Omar Shariff and Jack Palance starred this film, and the music reflects some very good arabian passages and of course gentle and romantic cues as his well known style, for example listen to the track "Just As You Are, I Love You" and believe me... you'll fall in love.
Have a nice weekend!!

Sete Vidas, Amores E Guerras

Brazilian composer Marcus Viana composed the music for several tv series in Brazil, and here's the original score for "A Casa Das Sete Mulheres". Don't know why the CD is named different, maybe because is music from and inspired by...

Thanks ruthie for her contribution.

Eight Legged Freaks

John Ottman is not a composer that I like very much, I can't get his style (if he has one), but this particular score is good and I want to share the complete score with you, funny main theme!

Transformers: The Video Game

At least is something... untill the original film score is released here is the music composed by Jablonsky and Jay Flood for the video game, is not orchestral but still has the MV or Remote Control sound. This version is excellent, new and clean, not the one floating around with +40 tracks that have cuts-off.

Keoma

For those who asked me about westerns, here's a rare one... Keoma features music by Guido & Maurizio de Angelis for this 1976 film starring Franco Nero.

Patrick Doyle composed the score for this sex thriller, a kind of film I could never associate to Doyle. Anyway is a very good work and sound quality is perfect.
